Privacy

MakeItOut is a small group-trip planning app built by a one-person team. We collect the minimum we need to run the product, and we don't sell or share your data with advertisers or brokers.

What we collect

When you sign up, we store your email and your display name. When you create or join a trip, we store the trip details (destination, dates, ideas, votes, expenses) and your association to it. We use Supabase to host the database. Vercel hosts the application. Mapbox provides geocoding. That's the full list of third parties your data touches in the normal course of using MakeItOut.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't track you across the web. We don't run analytics that identify you personally. The only "tracking" we do is anonymous page-view counts via Vercel Analytics.

Your rights

Email us at hello@makeitout.app to request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account entirely. We aim to respond within a week.

Changes

If we ever materially change how we handle data, we'll notify you via email before the change takes effect.
